Vera Zine
Vera is a coming-of-age cryptic-fantasy zine for a young-adult audience. Vera, a tenacious, witty young girl, finds herself stuck in the woods with her grandparents, her older brother, and a whole lot of free time for the summer. Strange visions plague Vera in her sleep and, soon enough, in her waking hours, too. Just what really lurks behind the trees of this vast forest? This first-volume zine draws from the monochromatic palette of home-printed zines with an illustration style inspired by more current indie graphic novels.
