In 2016, The Museum of the City of Skopje held an international student design competition titled, “Identity in Crisis”. The goal of the competition was to represent struggles with identity that can be recognized across all walks of life, and its role in self discovery. Through visual metaphor, these posters strive to represent identity crisis through naturalistic forms and a dark, somber tone. Both posters take different approaches towards tackling the idea of the conflict of outside forces changing, damaging, or otherwise altering one’s ability to self-identify.
